GENEROUSITAS BEGAN WITH THE IDEA that creativity is best when unbound. We took down walls, crossed borders and pioneered a new agency concept. In 2004, we opened doors in Kingston, Jamaica.
Generousitas has always maintained a core local team—and strengthened the operation with a network of creative talent across the globe.
We genuinely felt the world was flat before the phrase was coined—because the fundamentals of brand design are applicable everywhere.
It began with Benjamin Bailey— a creative director who’d crafted campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands— who wished to work in a new way.
With all the optimism and openness required to make change, he humbly endeavored to manifest a new idea. Start-ups are never smooth sailing. But the vision was rooted in truth and fervor.
Plus, Kingston is unwaveringly one of the most fiery and inspiring cities in the world.
But a young agency on a tiny island, bolstered by disparate talent the world over?
In 2004, we had a lot to prove. We had to show that great ideas could originate anywhere. Generousitas changed the way the island looks. We changed the way people work. And, we maintained and sustained a
destination for talented youth.
